Jayda D'Agostino

“Jayda was recommended to us by a musical theatre director who had worked with Jayda in many lead roles in school, with her most celebrated performance as Elphaba in Wicked in 2022. Jayda agreed to take on our 14 year old daughter who was starting out in the musical theatre / contemporary music field. My daughter has now been seeing Jayda for weekly sessions over the past 3 years, working on her MT pieces and ATAR music exam pieces. My daughter has thrived since she started working with Jayda, resulting in significant gains in vocal development, resulting in herself being successful in MT lead roles. We have also seen an increase in her confidence, stage presence, poise, and her understanding of vocal physiology. What surprised and delighted us, was Jayda attends any vocal performance our daughter has – essentially our daughter feels she is her biggest fan. In a non-teaching role, I have recorded Jayda as vocalist on commercial and corporate productions for radio and television. She was professional in every aspect, both as a vocalist and taking direction. As a lecturer at WAAPA, I am privy to the vocalists that attend both the Contemporary and Music Artist courses and I believe the results from Jayda are either on par or even above the standard from WAAPA”
